The Speedwell Wolves ~ A Treasure Awaits
Wish List

Hi all! Please notice there are two scroll bars on most of the pages to this web site. You will need to use the center scroll bar to navigate downward. Scroll away!

Watch our blog for how the family is doing, and more.... We are also on facebook and twitter.

As for what we need....

We need money! Fencing is not cheep, and we need to keep growing to provide homes for incoming wolves. Every week we get calls, and we want to help as many as we can, but we need enclosures, we need ponds and buckets and sand piles to play in, trees to siesta under....

We need man power. Are there any companies out there willing to donate time and energy to help? We have such great plans, but it takes an army, and we are but a few.

1)Meat! Meat! Meat! Meat! Did I mention we need Meat! deer, beef, chicken. Frozen please. Each wolf needs a minimum of 5 pounds per day. Yikes! Thank you to all those that have emptied their freezers and the restaurants in our area that donate their scraps. Scooter Restaurant of Lititz and Blue Bird Restaurant in Cornwall, Thank you!!

2) Jerky Style dog treats, and hot dogs (not spicy) These are great treats to share during tours. Don't worry this is not what they get for everyday meals.

3) Volunteers. If you are interested in volunteering at the wolf sanctuary, please take a tour, and while you are here please fill out an application. This will give you a chance to talk to someone about what we do here. Each volunteer must clock a minimum of 500 hours prior to working directly with the wolves. This is not a petting zoo so don't come if all you want to do is pet a wolf. We love our wolves, but they are not pets.

LINKS AND LODGING

Speedwell Forge Bed and Breakfast This is a great place to stay. You can visit the sanctuary on off tour times and see the wolves on a more personal level. NO you don't get to go in and interact with them, but you can sit there are watch all day if you want. Breakfast is made with your allergies and food restrictions in mind.
